Semaphore Road is the place to be on the last Sunday in November when around 50,000 people head to this year’s Raine & Horne Semaphore Street Fair.

This free family-friendly event sees Semaphore Road closed to traffic from the Esplanade to Swan Terrace to come alive for a celebration in this iconic and historical part of Adelaide’s west.

The event spills over onto the Semaphore foreshore with amusement rides for the whole family, a vintage steam engine display and Ironclad Academy of the Sword setting up a Medieval Fighting Tournament. Knights in shining armour will compete and ladies in all their finery will cheer for their heroes.

The annual Semaphore Pets and Garden Pet Parade is on again and entry is free; every contestant gets a goody bag, plus there are prizes to be won. Follow the free Yellow Brick Road where the first 400 kids get a gift from lots of sites along the way.

We handpick over 200 unique and distinctive stall holders to be part of Adelaide’s biggest Street Fair. There will be handmade arts and crafts of every kind, vintage fashion and records, craft beer, mead and wine to sample bringing a stimulating atmosphere to the neighbourhood that has made this event famous.

There are DJs, live bands and belly dancers performing on the four stages to keep the festive vibe pumping while roving street performers have the length of Semaphore Road.

The Raine & Horne Semaphore Street Fair is proudly supported by the Port Adelaide Enfield Council.
